Custom Code Diagnostics

Diagnostics for Custom Code is only available from v6.9.0 and newer.

Diagnostics for Antilag is only available from v7.0 and newer.

Diagnostics for Ethanol Override, Exhaust Flap, and Valet Mode is only available from v7.1 and newer.

Users can access the Custom Code Diagnostics page after connecting the MG Flasher app to their vehicle and navigating from MyCar → Open Car → Diagnostics → Custom Code Diagnostics.

Custom Code Diagnostics Page

Displayed diagnostic options are dependent on the Custom Code version actively installed on your vehicle. See Custom Code Supported ECU Software Versions and Custom Code Features for details.


General Diagnostics

Read All EEPROM: Check the active values/status of all available Custom Code On-The-Fly options.

Set All EEPROM: Available only for troubleshooting. Sets all slots, status to predefined values.

Save EEPROM: Performs an ignition cycle to initiate saving.

Switchable Maps Diagnostics

You can read and set the active Switchable Map slot you would like to use with the options shown. Definition for slots can be found here: Switchable Maps On-The-Fly


Burbles Diagnostics

You can read and set the active Burble slot you would like to use with the options shown. Slot 5 is only available with Custom Code v7.1 or newer. Definition for slots can be found here: Burbles On-The-Fly


Max Cooling Diagnostics

You can read the active Max Cooling status and enable or disable Max Cooling. More info available here: Max Cooling On-The-Fly


Antilag Diagnostics

Read the active stationary RPM, or set it from the popup screen. More info available here: Antilag (Launch Control)


Ethanol Override Diagnostics

Read the active status or value for ethanol override, enable or disable ethanol override, set the active value for ethanol override. More info available here: Ethanol Content


Exhaust Flap On-The-Fly Diagnostics

Check the current status of the Exhaust Flap OTF, or you could set it to be “Open”, “Closed” or “OEM”. More info available here: Exhaust Flap On-The-Fly


Radiator Flap On-The-Fly Diagnostics
