Custom Code v6.0 has been released with App version 293! This update brings cruise control functions to Switchable Maps, Burbles and Max Cooling On-The-Fly! Custom Code v6.0 instructions will be updated with photos soon!

Custom Code v6.9 (to be released soon) allows you to use either RESUME or BC buttons to confirm your selection.

With the dynamic burble feature, flashing your car every time you want to adjust the intensity of the burbles will be a thing of the past! Via cruise control buttons on Custom Code v6.0 or a simple combination of the Driving Experience Switch and the MSA button on Custom Code v5.4 (and earlier) you can change the intensity of the burbles ON THE FLY!

There are 4 burble levels available. With some feedback from our Beta testers we have also added "Burble OFF Mode" for those of you who want to remain in Sport and Sport + without burbles active.

Watch our Custom Code v5.4 instructional video on YouTube or Facebook page to see how it works and read below for more info!

Video is outdated. Switching requires 4 MSA presses and to return to default requires 6 presses in any mode. F and G series share the same instructions now.

This option is also available for stock maps and custom tunes with the purchase of a flashing license.

Important notes:

  • The car must be above 50-degree coolant temperature and engine running for longer than ~30 seconds for burbles to activate.

  • The burble level adjusted by the Aggressiveness Slider during your last OTS map flash will be the default aggressiveness adjustment without any of the above-mentioned selections. This "default" mode will be activated each time when vehicle is started after sleep mode.

  • Engine must be running (more than 30 seconds from start when using Custom Code v5.4 and earlier, Custom Code v6.0 can be used as soon as engine starts).

  • Custom Code v5.4 and earlier:

    • CEL will blink twice quickly when enabled and solid when default settings are restored.

    • Drive Mode must be enabled; manual mode deactivates the selection process.

    • You must press the MSA button the required number of times within 2.5 seconds for it to be a valid selection.

Burble Aggression Levels

  • Default Mode – Aggressiveness level depends on your slider positions.

  • Level 1 - This level will be equivalent to the aggressiveness at 20%.

  • Level 2 - This level will be equivalent to the aggressiveness at 40%.

  • Level 3 - This level will be equivalent to the aggressiveness at 70%.

  • Burble OFF - Burbles will now be fully deactivated.

Changing Burbles On-The-Fly

 Custom Code v6.0+

Using Cruise Control buttons

Usable while vehicle is in motion

Only available for F-Series B46, B48 and B58 vehicles using select software versions. Support for more is on the way!

  1. Hold the FAR UP button on the rocker switch for 2 seconds. Check Engine Light (CEL) will flash (blinking at a medium speed) (indicating burble selection mode is active)

  2. UP and DOWN buttons on the rocker switch will change RPM to reflect burble level

  3. Select your burble level by pressing the RESUME button (CEL will turn off and state will be updated) (or BC button in Custom Code v6.9+)

Burble Levels:

  • 0 RPM - Default Mode

  • 1000 RPM - Level 1

  • 2000 RPM - Level 2

  • 3000 RPM - Level 3

  • 4000 RPM - Burble OFF

There is a ~10 second timeout which will cancel your selection if no buttons are pressed. If the selection menu times out, the map slot will not be adjusted and no changes will be saved.
