Custom Code Supported ECU Software Versions

On this page, you can find if your ECU’s software is supported for a specific Custom Code version. As of Custom Code v7.0.5, all Gen 1 G-Series and F-Series software with SWFL 3076 or 3081, and Gen 2 G-Series software with SWFL 5D55 are fully supported. Support for remaining software versions will be available very soon.

How To Check Your Software Version

You can check which software version you have by using the MG Flasher app: go to the “Diagnostics” page and press “Read” next to “ECU Info”.

You should see a screen that displays what SWFL is actively on your ECU. Here is a screenshot of the ECU Info page. SWFL for this ECU is 3076 080.017.003 and its currently using beta Custom Code v7.2
