Flex Fuel Blending
Instructions for using Flex Fuel Blending can be found here:Using Flex Fuel Blending
Requires Custom Code v7.3.x!
Introduced in Custom Code v7.3, the flex fuel blending feature allows users to utilize their Ethanol Content Analyzer (ECA, ethanol sensor) to automatically adjust their ECU’s tuning parameters for the amount of ethanol in their fuel. Users can also manually set the ethanol content using the Ethanol Content Override feature!
Tuner’s can checkout our flex fuel calibration guide: Tuning Guide
In order to use the feature, users need to enable the Ethanol option in the Custom Options menu during flashing a supported MG Flasher OTS map. Within the Ethanol option menu, users also need to enable Flex Fuel Blending and then the ECA or Ethanol Override options as per their setup.
In doing so, the ECU will blend the required parameters according to the Ethanol content of the fuel mix.
All supported OTS maps use MG Flasher's automatic Flex Fuel blending. The ECU adjusts tuning maps using MG Flasher's logic.
